After taking Monday to ascertain the damage left behind by Maysak and confirming that all the brothers and sisters were safe and uninjured we, with the Circuit Overseer, were sure to visit with each of the families and bring some food and fresh water. Since that time each week we have been providing food and other provisions twice a week so that the friends have the necessities. It has been noted by their neighbors how they have been provided for. One man said that their government or their religious organization has provided provisions only once since the storm. But the witnesses have been given provision twice a week for the last three months. What a stark contrast. The relief efforts will continue until the end of July.
