RETURN FROM PAFANG

We had a wonderful time the last two weeks. We traveled to four different islands on the Sea Rover, a 65 foot sail boat with 7 Cabins. We took the trip with 8 others, two other families and their children and a local brother from the island of Tol. We stopped at the islands of Nomwin, Fananu, Ruo, and Murilo. We were well received by the locals and they loved to study the bible. It was a exciting trip, but we are happy to be back home and to continue our ministry here in Moen. Of course we had some time to enjoy ourselves!

Finally A New Post

It has been a very busy few months. Once we returned from the states for a wonderful visit with family and friends we came home to a wedding, Circuit Assembly, KM school and a circuit visit. We saw our fellow missionary/translator marry a local Chuukese sister who has been a translation for many years now. The wedding was a big surprise and happened very quick. Our assembly turned out very nice and had many visitors including one of our Bible Students who enjoyed the talks on family. The KM school was very nice and very different since we had only 5 elders in attendance and the circuit overseer.

Since the changes made to the three congregations, we have been encouraged to reach more by witnessing to those who come to Moen by boat and setting up booth witnessing. We have had some wonderful experiences with many coming in from the other islands and looking for us to receive their new copies of the Watchtower. Also we had a new peak for our attendance in our new Kingdom Hall, 124. With the other location having an attendance of 137 we had a total of 261 who attended the memorial here in Chuuk.
