Belated Posts

Since it has been such a long time since our last post here are a number of random pictures from our time in Guam after the pandemic. We hope you enjoy the brief review of what has happened over the last couple of years in no particular order. To follow are pictures and videos of our trip to Saipan, Titian, and the arrival of Typhoon Mawar.

Our trek to the top of mount Lam Lam.

Mount Lamlam is 1,332 ft above sea level at its highest point, but, since it rises from the Mariana Trench,  it is technically the highest mountain on Earth. It isn't the highest mountain above water, but if you dropped Everest in the Mariana Trench, there would be about 6,000 feet of sea water above its peak.

UNUSUAL SIGHTINGS

What? Not sure what is going on in this scene. A little bit of everything. We were thinking Chamorro nativity scene, land of the lost, or the twilight zone.

Not lions, tigers, and bears.

Where are we?

Who is this in the picture?

And then we came upon this? Look
at the BBQ going on in the back.

ENDURING COVID

It has been just about 10 months of lockdown. Like everyone else it has been a challenge to keep our sanity during this time. It is always good to take a moment and reflect on the beauty still around us. This past week we were able to leave the house to deliver supplies to some friends and along the way we found some beautiful spots to stop and enjoy. We were reminded of how wonderful God's creations are. We took the long way around the island and here is one of the stops along the way.

Still being careful.

Japan - Part IV

No commentary necessary about this segment of our time in Japan. We had to go since we were so close.

One big difference between here and
Disney World is that you can only
enter andexit the park by monorail.
No just strolling into the
Happiest Place on Earth.

Look how full!

Arriving at Disney Land Japan. Only smiles.

Nap time!

Tower of Terror.

Pictures anyone?

Any thoughts?

Tiki room.

They know Japanese?

Awesome.
Time to leave.

Mt Fuji is a spectacular sight
from any location.
A reminder of a wonderful day.
